M.P.E.R.O.R.
Picking up a tape or CD from the
    Midwest rapper M.P.E.R.O.R. would
    prove disappointing if one was
    hoping for a copy-cat, sing-song style
or trendy references to the backside
of women. His form, ten years in the
making, is rooted in spirituality. Hard,
    but humble; mellow, while hype.

M.P.E.R.O.R. is an acronym for Most
    Powerful Entering Resurrection
Outside Ra. Just as the name
    implies, M.P.E.R.O.R. is serious
about Spirituality and rap is his
vehicle to reach millions. “Even if I
reach one, I have done well. I want to
let people know I’ve been there,” says
    the artist.

The artist had been preparing since
1986 for the 1996 debut of his self-
    entitled maxi-single “M.P.E.R.O.R.”
The success of the project resulted in
a surge of popularity for the hit maker.

I had people coming up to me telling
me that certain lyrics made them cry.
This was a new experience for me
and definitely an honor. It was an
encouragement for me to go forward
    with my craft,” M.P.E.R.O.R. recalls.
His second release entitled,
“M.P.E.R.O.R. The Rebirth” shell-
shocked previous fans while, adding
new ones to his fan base:  The
success of this CD, which flowed
across the Midwest, showed hip-hop
heads searching for something new
that M.P.E.R.O.R. had arrived.

His third release “Truth or
Consequences” recorded with the
Truth Squad was a collaborative effort
showcasing other rap artists.

M.P.E.R.O.R.’s fourth and most recent
project, “Tribute To The Black
Woman,” is receiving rave reviews
from all who take a listen. The Tribute,
which includes songs “Mental Loving”
and “Justice is Divine,” is
M.P.E.R.O.R.’s way of showing his
love, honor and respect for the Black
Woman.

His latest project, “M.P.E.R.O.R.’s
Blessings,” in stores now includes
the hits, “Victory is Mine,” “Freedom
Ain’t Free (Guerrilla Anthem)” and
“Ease the Pain.” As with every project,
M.P.E.R.O.R. speaks Universal Truth
from his heart, mind and spirit.

“Music is my calling,” says
M.P.E.R.O.R. the Most Powerful
Entering Resurrection Outside Ra.

"M.P.E.R.O.R.'s music is intense and mean.
Not in a bad way, but a in your face way. He's
a hardcore rapper but he's not trying to tear
you down. He's trying to show you where you
are torn down so you can build yourself up."
